Travis Zajac practiced fully on Saturday after leaving Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Dallas Stars when he took a Kyle Plamieri shot off the helmet late in the third period.
Zajac and Devils coach John Hynes both said the veteran center would play in Sunday's 1 p.m. game against the New York Islanders.
Following the puck to the head, Zajac went through the concussion protocol but was cleared shortly after the game. The shot did leave a bump and a cut on the top left of his forehead, and he needed about six stitches.
