TUCSON – The Tucson Roadrunners, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Arizona Coyotes, announced today that the team has signed forward Mark Olver to an AHL contract for the 2016-17 season.
Olver brings 74 games of NHL experience with him, all with the Colorado Avalanche from 2010-2013. Over that stretch the Burnaby, BC native recorded a total of 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points. Most recently Olver skated in Germany’s DEL with Eisbaren Berlin, where he helped the team reach the championship quarterfinal this spring.
“Mark has the ability to create offense and brings lots of speed to his game,” said Roadrunners General Manager Doug Soetaert.
